Portfolio will output to any display or projector recognized by your iPad, including both those physically connected and those streamed to via AirPlay. Just connect to the display and Portfolio will automatically detect and begin displaying content on it.
When not in the viewer, it displays the External Screen image set. Once in the viewer it reflects what is currently displayed on your iPad.
Swipe between images and the external display changes with the iPad. Play a slideshow and the external display follows. Compare images and they’re displayed side-by-side on the external viewer as well.
The HDMI connector is the preferred cabled connector. All other connectors do not support as high of a resolution. AirPlay, when streamed to a computer running AirServer, is capable of the same resolution as HDMI. Portfolio presents at the native resolution provided by the screen itself.
